THE ROCKS is located in Elie and Earlsferry, an idyllic seaside village within the East Neuk of Fife and only 12 miles from the home of golf and historic University town of St Andrews.
THE ROCKS is on Earlsferry High Street and was renamed by its current owner to reflect the stunning views from the house across the Firth of Forth to The Bass Rock, and the home’s prime location with private gardens leading directly to the “crocodile rocks” on the blue flag award-winning Elie beach.
THE ROCKS has been completely renovated and extended to offer luxurious, comfortable and spacious living for up to 10 guests in the main house, plus 2 additional guests in THE LIGHTHOUSE guest annex.
The East Neuk of Fife is a centre of tourism for Scotland and is home to some of the most famous golf courses in the world. Neuk means corner, and the Fife coastline is dotted with pretty fishing villages and natural harbours and beaches.
The local fishing fleets provide excellent catches for the first class seafood restaurants, and the area has also become popular with artists, and hosts many galleries and festivals.
The villages of Elie and Earlsferry were officially joined as a Royal Borough in 1929 and have been a popular family holiday destination for many years. The locals claim a micro climate that means little rain and plenty of sunshine for fun days on the beach and the golf course.
